Our staff coach Chris Spendlove serves as the College Liaison & Recruitment coordinator at the club. Coach Spendlove has over 12 years of coaching club, Olympic Development, high school and college soccer. He is currently an Assistant Coach with Oklahoma City Energy FC.
For many players chasing their dream of playing collegiate soccer can be a daunting process. Am I good enough? Can I afford it? What SAT score do I need? Will i get a scholarship? Will I be eligible? The list of questions can be endless! Your club can help guide you through this process.
As a potential student-athlete you have access to course selection and placement guidance, and advice on academic admissions and goal setting. Your liaison and recruitment coordinator is available on both an individual and small group basis to discuss your prospective plans. Its vitally importance you are staying pro-active in your college recruitment process and using the tools available to you to help you achieve your goals.
In the near future we will hold an OFC showcase for college coaches to attend. We will also hold a college Q&A seminar for prospective collegiate student athletes. Dates TBC.
